                RI-10i 'Confronting a Suppressive'

A GRADIENT SCALE OF CONFRONTING A SUPPRESSIVE PERSON

(dedicated to C. B. Willis who asked me to write it
down for you and for herself)

Here is a rough scale
about how people confront a Suppressive.
There are many more ways one can confront a Suppressive,
and they would fit somewhere on this scale.

I first wrote points 1 to 25.
Then I noticed some points of
'going to an SP,' which comes before 'being with an SP,'
so I numbered them in the negative.

-7. Joining the SP in order to be as evil as one wants to be
 without being restrained.

-6. Joining the SP in order to show decent people how evil
 they are.

-5. Going to the Suppressive in order to be made unaware of
the crimes that one has just committed.

-4. Feeling bad about one's own evil intentions and going to
the Suppressive in order to "feel good" again.

-3. Being betrayed by one's friends and going to an SP in order
to gain validation from the SP and to gain "protection against
one's friends." Taking the support of an SP.

-2. Going to an SP in order to let oneself be suppressed, with
the idea to try and "prove to oneself and to others that the
Suppressive Person is harming survival," or to "give the SP a
 chance to be decent."
The actual intention is to give the SP an opportunity to be as
evil or criminal as he wants to be, but to keep up an image to
oneself and to others that one disagrees with the SP.

-1. Going to the SP to pretend to want to make him saner,
but actually, to make a deal with him which turns out to be
a validation of his evil intentions, for instance by selling
something for well below the viable price of producing the
product, or otherwise validating his evil intention to get
something for nothing or at the expense of others.

Here now follow other ways by which people confront the
existence of or association with a Suppressive Person.

1. Having the SP create your role, your beingness, your space,
 your viewpoint.

"What will the SP want from me? That's what I should find out
and then do. What does the SP think about another person,
 about a subject?
That's how I shall think about that other person, about that
 subject."

This is a bottom-scale handling of a Suppressive Person.
People do this to handle SPs.

In this way they don't get hit by the Suppressive, all is fine,
there are flows, no ridges. It is possible to have Affinity,
a pretended but pleasant Affinity for the SP.

One also has no own viewpoint, no own initiative, no real liking
 for oneself, nor for others.
One has absolutely no responsibility for the Suppressive, nor
 for oneself, nor for others.

"I am there, but I am not there as myself."

That's quite a bottom-scale "handling" of Suppressives.

2. Above that would be, being killed while in such a State, or
being kicked out by the SP while in such a state as described
 under 1.

This would actually be higher, because one is, though against
one's will or initiative, removed from the SP.

3. Higher still would be, to be shot or otherwise kicked out of
the sphere of the SP by someone who is outside, who does not
belong to the SP, but who is fighting the SP.

4. Higher than that would be the action of (3.) above, but while
being AWARE that it was done by someone opposing the SP.

5. Then there is being ordered to leave the sphere of influence
of the SP by someone, at gunpoint, under penalty of being
 killed or severely punished.

6. Higher than that would be as (3.), but this time being aware
that it was done by someone of GOOD intentions to oneself.

7. A. Knowing about the SP and doing as if it is not an SP.

Not telling anybody what one observes.
"It is not my job to handle him."
"If somebody else handles him that's fine. I won't do it."
"I will just suffer through any damage he is doing to me and
others." "If I tell anybody else or if I tell the SP that
I know he is an SP, I will get hit - so I won't tell anybody."

7. B. "If I get a chance, without the SP noticing it, I will try
to not fully execute his orders. Maybe I won't get caught."

"But if anybody points out that I am suppressing others by
executing the Orders of the SP, I will get very angry and very
right and defend my position, even though I know I use this
 position to suppress people."

7. C. "I will find a place or area were I don't have to execute
the suppressive orders of the SP, but I won't talk about the
reason why I went somewhere else, nor about the SP, in order to
not get hit and in order to not lose friends who want to stay
in comm with the SP, friends who want to continue to support
 the SP."

"I will do what I want."

7. D. "I will tell people about the SP if they want to hear it.
If they don't want to know about the SP, I won't help them to
start to look at the SP."
"I cannot make people more ethical, that is their own
 responsibility."
"I have already enough trouble myself."
"I do not want to be attacked by my friends."

7. E. Disconnecting from the SP, not wanting to know or hear
 anything about a Suppressive.
Forbidding others to talk about the Suppressive.
Forbidding others to find out about the Suppressive.
"They just must disconnect as well."
"We don't want to know about him," "We don't want to hear about
him," "We don't want to put any attention on him because we
 know he is an SP."
"We don't take responsibility for such people until they stop
 being Suppressives by themselves.

7. F. "Suppressives are those that are declared Suppressive by
 the authorities."
"It is not my duty and I do not have the knowledge and I
cannot have enough data anyway to decide whether someone is
 a Suppressive."
"I do not want to get in conflict with the authorities because
that would greatly hinder my survival."

"Others are stronger than I am anyway."

"I like people, it would be arrogant of me to say someone is
a Suppressive. Everybody has faults, so, who am I to judge?"

7. G. "My enemies might be Suppressives, my friends certainly
 are not."
"It's all a matter of what side one is on and what game one
is playing, and people are playing different games.
So it's actually only a consideration and it's only a matter
of viewpoint that people believe that an opponent is a
 Suppressive.
So even when I believe somebody is a Suppressive he might not
really be one. He is just opposing me."
"I am also having some bad intentions myself."

Now we are slowly coming into the area of what we normally call
 'handling Suppressives.'

8. Being told by someone to not go to a Suppressive, with some
 penalty attached to it.

9. Hearing that someone is a Suppressive.

10. Examining the source of that information that says about
someone that he or she is a Suppressive, examining the evidence
 presented.

11. Being asked to detect a Suppressive in one's environment
 or group.

12. Detecting the wrong SP. (Desire to handle SPs will
eventually lead to the correct SP.)

13. Diminishing contact and support of a wrongly detected SP
 (comment as above).

14. Detecting the right SP and diminishing contact and support
 for that SP.

15. Being audited about the SP, resulting in more own stability
 and rise in happiness.

15. A. Being audited on the Suppressed Person Rundown in order
to really fully confront the SP oneself. That means to look at,
and to find out about the crimes of the SP in auditing, and
regaining lifeforce that was fixed onto the SP.

15. B. If able and trained to do so, audit the SP in
 Solo sessions.

15. C. Report crimes of the SP, uncovered by auditing others or
by Solo Auditing, per HCOPL 'Confessionals - Ethics Reports
 required.'

15. D. Audit others on the SP. Get others to audit people on
 the SP.

16. Informing others about the SP.

17. Getting others to read your information about the SP.

18. Getting some people to diminish their support for the SP.

19. Getting others to investigate the SP.

20. Making the evidence about the SP known.

21. Getting the SP removed from his post.

22. Getting decent production going again.

23. Getting the people who helped to remove the SP, audited on
the SP, as these people will be most valuable to detect and
 handle further or future SPs.

24. Cleaning up the mess that the SP and his 'friends' made.

25. Cleaning up the 'friends' of the SP and auditing them about
the SP. In the course of that, some 'friends' of the SP may
turn out to be themselves SPs.

As you see we have not needed the cooperation of the SP.
We have not needed to audit the SP, except indirectly, by
getting audited oneself about the SP and probably getting
others audited about the SP, (or oneself auditing others about
 the SP.)

This would be some kind of scale of confronting a Suppressive,
and we can go higher than that into the area of preventing the
SP from doing future damage, or from doing damage elsewhere.

We can go into handling past damage the Suppressive has done,
which basically falls into the activity of auditing people
 about the SP.

(The SP David Miscavige has done a lot of damage in the distant
past to very very many people. Only because THAT damage done
by him - which was to make very very many people unaware,
AND on top of that, unaware of WHO made them be suddenly
unaware - was never handled or audited out, only therefore
could David Miscavige again come to power and again try to
damage people spiritually in the name of Freedom.)

We could go into rehabilitating the SP to such an extent that
he could be taught that it is actually possible for him to
contribute to others, to Mankind, in some simple way.
That would largely depend on his own desire. But if we have come
this far up the scale with him, and have done a lot of auditing
of the people around him, the willingness of the SP to be
rehabilitated is probably sufficient to proceed with that.
