If you are taking the drugs away from the drug addict,
 if you prevent him from selling drugs to others,
 if you let him go through the withdrawal-symptoms,
   he will fight you
    with the most vicious means of force and lies
     that he is capable of generating.

He will take every effort
 to restimulate others and make others believe
  how utterly evil and anti-social YOU are to him.



The amount of evil and lies
 such people are capable of generating
  is unimaginable to you and me, to normal people.


So when they spout their lies and commit their evil acts,
 normal people say:
   'This can't be said out of evil intent!'
   'There must be something true about this!'


And indeed, the data they submit is all true:
 It is true that you are denying them
  their constitutional or statutory, lawful right
   to take drugs,
  their right to destroy
   themselves, and
   their environment, and
   their family, and
   their friends,
   as well as the economy and society at large.


Consider what lies,
 what betrayal of own morals, and
 what betrayal of self
  a drug addict is capable of,
   just for the purpose of
    not having to confront
     his destructive evil intention to take drugs, and
    in order to continue this evil intention,
    in order to keep taking drugs.


And then consider the result, the outcome,
 of being a true friend to a drug addict,
  by staying by him
   till he stopped selling and buying drugs,
   till he has gone through the withdrawal symptoms and
   till he is finally free from drugs:

You will have gained a friend in him
 for many lifetimes to come.



By treating enemies as enemies,
 you make it very clear to them
  that YOU are a friend to them
  and that you are NOT an enemy.
