RI-83i 'THE RIGHT TO STUDY AND APPLY SCIENTOLOGY
                    CAN NEVER BE DENIED'

from Ron's Inspector

Message # RI-83i for Internet

THE VALUE OF STUDYING AND APPLYING SCIENTOLOGY IS COMPARABLE
TO THE ABILITY TO READ AND WRITE.

Therefore you have a right that can not be denied to you,
and that is to study and apply Scientology.

ANYBODY has an undeniable right to study and apply Scientology,
as much as anybody, - no matter how sane or insane or
decent or criminal he is, -
has a right to learn to read and write.

The only limitation is that a person who is insane
and criminal may NOT be put in a position of
authority over others `because he has studied Scientology.'

One also does, in the civilized world,
NOT grant a person the right to be in charge of others,
for the SOLE reason that he can read and write.

There were those who could read and write,
who forbade their slaves to learn to read and write,
and they would kill anyone who taught any of their slaves
 to read and write.
And they would kill any slaves who had tried to learn to
 read and write.

So I say, ANYBODY has an undeniable right to study
 and apply Scientology.

As you see now, this right has to be fought for,
because some people, also some Scientologists (see footnote 1),
will try to set things up so
that studying and applying Scientology is denied to others.
And they will get agreement from others on this,
just as the others agreed then to deny the
learning of reading and writing to their slaves.

THE ONLY WAY SCIENTOLOGY CAN BE TURNED TO EVIL AND TO
DOMINATE, IS TO NOT ENSURE THAT EVERYBODY HAS A RIGHT AND
POSSIBILITY TO STUDY IT AND APPLY IT.

This is what LRH (see footnote 2) says himself
about Scientology - it is not just my statement,
but I understand it, therefore it is now also my statement.

There have been several control mechanisms
and bids for the power to deny people the
right to study and apply Scientology.

Some of them I disbanded and destroyed,
 or I initiated their destruction.

There are many, many possibilities,
 justifications and excuses
 for denying people the right
 to study and apply Scientology.

In order to not list these all out here - as
it would be beyond the intended size of this letter -
we simply state that all these possibilities
lead to certain people being denied studying and
 applying Scientology.

THE MOST DANGEROUS POSSIBILITY
IS A SYSTEM BY WHICH THE MOST ABLE,
THE MOST DECENT, THE MOST VALUABLE PEOPLE IN THE GROUP
ARE DENIED TO STUDY AND APPLY SCIENTOLOGY.

As I told you above, I have initiated the
destruction of at least two such systems,
as such systems would really bring about
 a control-operation by Scientology,
 instead of the freeing-operation
for which Scientology is totally intended
 and solely developed by LRH,
and I am at the moment
busy destroying yet another such system.

There are some purely economical aspects
to teaching Scientology, and that is, for instance,
that it would cost maybe 20 times more than normal,
to teach the average psychiatrist or psychologist, - in terms
of time and effort you have to spend on them
and in terms of trouble they cause to other students -
because you first have to "un-teach"
all the very false concepts they have willingly absorbed,
 adopted without protest,
and even created and enforced on others.

And so there exist other people also
who by their indoctrination or education or profession,
 or possibly by their religion,
are much harder to teach than others.

These are simply practical problems,
 and they have always existed.
A very intelligent, very motivated student
 is more easy to teach,
by a factor of maybe hundred, in time,
compared to a dull, unmotivated student with a very,
 very, bad primary school.

Now these practical, economical problems,
 e.g. "We don't want a student that costs 100,000 $ to teach,
in a classroom that is geared to teach students for 1,000 $",
 these perfectly valid statements
are used to DENY such students the
 study and application of Scientology.

THE RIGHT TO STUDY AND APPLY SCIENTOLOGY IS
AS UNDENIABLE AS THE RIGHT TO LEARN TO READ AND WRITE.

These are undeniable rights to any spiritual beings,
as rights which are stated by LRH:
'the right to leave a game',
 and
`the right to his own sanity'.

The right to study and apply Scientology IS
the right to one's own sanity
and it is the right to leave the game of being a body,
of being treated as a body instead of as a spiritual being.

It is undeniable - there are no reasons to deny it, ever.

And there is very good sense in this.

It is in fact the basis of the success Christianity had:
that an insane or evil act should not be repaid
by the recipient of the evil or crime,
repaid with [the recipient] now also
having to become evil or insane [TO the criminal].

This may be a change in subject to you,
but I don't believe it is.

The philosophy of revenge and
of "now we have to be evil to the criminal",
is similar to "This person is so bad -
now we deny him the right to study and apply Scientology."

As I have described elsewhere,
such a philosophy is utter insanity,
BECAUSE it demands of decent people to become evil
to (minor or major) criminals or to insane people.

It is an insane act to leave an insane person insane
or to make him more insane,
and committing such an evil act,
directly backfires onto the person who does so - or
onto the person who makes others do so.

Therefore every person has the undeniable right
 to study and apply Scientology.
