Handling people well,
 requires
 that you have very high ARC,
 that is:
 Affinity for,
 Reality about,
 Communication with or perception of people,
 making together
 a very high understanding of people.

To a Suppressive Person,
 "understanding people"
 means
 "what threats to make and what rewards to offer".

That, however, is not understanding people,
 but
 it is just being a slavemaster
 who treats people as stupid animals,
 which they are not
 (the very large majority of them)
 of course.

But these slavemasters
 do manage to get things done,
 they get pyramids built
 and so on.

 But that is not
 handling people with Understanding,
 and
 it makes a very unhappy scene.

 You CAN UNDERSTAND a person,
 you CAN understand his goals,
 and
 as a result of your understanding him,
 you take him to a concert or you take him to
 a church of Scientology as the case may be.

This does NOT require that HE understands
 his goals and interests,
 it does not even require
 that he understands YOU.

But it sure requires
 that YOU
 very thoroughly
 understand HIM,
 his individuality and his case,
 and
 that you do not just
 blindly assume
 that everybody likes music or Scientology.
