                 RI-260i 'Comparative Religion'

from Ron's Inspector

Message # RI-260i for Internet

Comparing religions is interesting business.

Many religions have truths communicated in them.

It is the ratio of
the amount of truths they provide
 versus
the amount of untruths the same religions provide,
 that establishes their value.

We can have a 'religion' called Humanism, for example,
and this has a limited amount of general truths in it,
and it has a limited amount of untruths in it.
It leaves out a vast amount of truths
  which other religions do offer,
but on the other hand, those other religions
have a large amount of untruths or halftruths in them,
which may all in all make their net-value less
  than the value of Humanism,
or may even make them negative
when measured by their provision of long term survival
to those who live along these lines.

With 'long term', we mean always 'longer than one life-time',
because we are talking about religion.

We consider a religion that makes someone spiritually dead,
a religion that has a negative value.

Scientology is to my knowledge
a religion which very precisely defines
each of the very very many truths it offers,
and that, better than the science of Physics.

It even provides definitions for Physics
and for many other sciences, including the social sciences.

(I myself am a student of Physics and Mathematics,
and I have found Scientology to be senior to Physics.)
