            'BEING A TYRANT'
            make you 'right'?  LFBD


[LRH:] "I could give orders
 without looking at the Ethics of it.

"I would give orders
 and care in no way
  whether such order can be executed or not.

"I would take no responsibility
  to PROVIDE for the execution of an order.

"I would not spend a minute thinking
  what it will mean to others to execute my orders,
  what harm it would do to their Dynamics [their life],
  what they have to give up for it,
  or whether they die by it,
  or whether they would suppress others
   - out of a safe solution to save their [own] lives -
   when I force them to execute my orders.

"I would get things done.  LF


"I could postulate what I fancy
 - and the rest is enforcing it on others until it's done,
   without responsibility HOW it's done.

"I wouldn't have to think
  whether what I order is also benefiting others.


"As a tyrant I am not stopped
 by the ideas others have
  about what to do and how to spend their lives,
  about what to be, what to have.

"I wouldn't have to think
  how to reconcile [bring into harmony]
   what they want and
   what  I  want,
    so that ALL can survive.


"I wouldn't have to communicate in a way
 that [what I order] will be UNDERSTOOD to be survival.

"I sure have to bring about a duplication
  THAT I gave an order.
  But that - with enough loudness and force and threats
             and punishment for non-compliance -
   is easily done.


"I could make myself right about it
  - pointing out all the great projects I get done
    and how my people follow me -
  whereby another ruler, in a democracy for example,
    gets little done
   because he must CONVINCE people
     to like what he wants to do.
 He must ask for permission to do something
 and he will still not be sure
  that the most responsible proposal for a project
   will get the highest acclaim and approval.

"I could justify
 that there is no guarantee
  for justice in a democracy or
 that there is no guarantee
  that decisions are always for the greatest good
   of the greatest number of dynamics.

"So, then, as a tyrant,
 I might even make better decisions
  than decisions made by groups of people
   'who after all care only for their own interests'."



[Auditor:] How would 'being a tyrant' make you right?  LFBD

[LRH:] "As a tyrant I am above Ethics,
 there wouldn't be any Superior
  or Ethics Officer
  or Justice Chief
  or judge
   who would evaluate my actions, and
   who would be allowed
    to assign to me Ethics-conditions.

"I would ALWAYS BE RIGHT,
  because I proclaim it by decree
  and I enforce it with threats and punishment.




"As a tyrant I would not be bothered
  by people who criticize me,
 [by people who are] really [destructively] critical.

"I wouldn't have to ask them for their withholds
  when they do [criticize me].

"Or, when they are antagonistic,
  I wouldn't have to find
  what
  Bypassed Charge [restimulated 'unexplained' emotional charge]
  [they have].

"Or, when they are upset,
 [I wouldn't have to find]
  what ARCX's [upsets] [they have],
 or, when they self-audit,
  what auditing was denied or
  what List-error [was] not handled.


"I would order 'off with their heads'
 and the problem would be resolved.


"And everybody would know that it IS so,
 and they wouldn't even TRY to 'natter' [destructively criticize].

"And all attempts
  to put ethics in [to point out un-ethical behavior],
  I would declare to be 'natter' [destructive criticism], and
 [I would declare it] 'natter to be punished'.

"And we would have a very peaceful industrious society.


"As a tyrant I would have order.

"As a tyrant, I wouldn't have opposing intentions
  at war with each other in the society.

"As a tyrant, no one would dare to oppose me.
 So my orders would get through."



[Auditor:] How would 'being a tyrant' make you right?

[LRH:] "No one would be entitled to judge my actions.

"So I always would be right.
 No measuring-stick would be allowed to exist
  by which to evaluate my actions.
 I would declare everything that I am doing as being right.
 I would not allow anyone to question that.
 So I would be right, as right as I wanted to.


"And 'who cares anyway about REALLY being right?'!
 (really right as:
   being survival,
   a right action,
   an action assisting survival
    along the maximal number of Dynamics.)

"Now, being a tyrant would not necessarily bring this about,
  although
  a tyrant demands for himself
   the absolute right
    to determine everything, and
    to demand compliance with all his orders.

"He could order
  all the good and most survival things in the world.
 Yet he doesn't.
 He uses his power to destroy.

"Isn't that peculiar?
 He does not include in his orders the well-being of others.


"He IS willing to give orders,
  he IS willing to get them complied with,
  he doesn't make any 'Q&A' [hesitation, back and forth] with it,
 BUT
  he doesn't include the well-being of others
   in his orders.  LFBD

"So, he can't be very much right.

"He is willing to get his orders complied with
  EVEN when he gets heavily opposed,
 but he doesn't include the well-being of others
  in his computations.

"He can't see - or doesn't WANT to see -
 why he gets opposed:
  because the well-being of others doesn't count for him.


"So he has 'service computations'
 for the case [in which] he gets opposed:  LFBD

"He gets attacked
 and
 [that provides for him the justification,]
 [he] has [therefore] NOW a justification,  LFBD
  for
   his [EARLIER] tyrannical orders
    given without consideration for others.

"NOW he can demand
  that
  everyone goes to war for him and
  dies for him.



"That's what is happening in Bosnia nowadays.
 It has happened in Germany. Hitler has done it.

"A tyrant doesn't include the well-being of others
 in his computations.
