[LRH:] "How I got my eyesight back
 after the injury during the war in 1944.  LFBD

"And how Koos helped me in it.  LFBD


"I did not regain my eyesight in one attempt.

"It took about a year of
  intense intending and recalling what I knew about life and
  inventing ways to address life,
 and my intention
  was not solely to get only my eyesight back.


"But to stay with the subject of eyesight:

"Although [I was] blind, I had pictures,
  I could 'see' scenes,
 [I could] re-experience incidents,
  I could mock-up [imagine] the room around me,
   the people, the landscape,
  I could 'see' it,
 but
  I couldn't get 'near' the actual object or person.
  I remained separated,
   sometimes near,
   but at the same time very far away.

"I had pictures, could 'see' them, although blind,
  and sometimes I got only blackness.
 This was rudimentary Dianetics:
  I tried to 'see' what was in the blackness.

"If I didn't 'see' what was in the blackness,
  I experienced emotions about it or sensations,
 and
 through this, I tried to find out more
  about what was contained in the 'blackness',
   and I got
    'incidents I didn't want to look at'.


"One, which in the beginning was blackness, had in it,
  bright 'blinding' explosions,
  and I saw myself right in it.  LFBD

"I perceived [that]
  I was not only
   receiving explosions in the incident,
  but I was also
   shoving explosions out in some direction  LFBD
    to hit a target with it.  LFBD

"That's
  how I started to find out
  about the [much earlier] incident.  LFBD


"It was an overt [crime] on Koos.  LFBD
 It was a titanic fight with Koos.  LF's

"In the incident,
 for a great part of the time,
  there was nothing but flashing brightness back and forth.

"I was sitting in a glare, dazzled by the brightness.

"In the incident,
 I was creating the same effect at the other end.
  Later I found out it was Koos [at the other end].

"My Tone Level was huge anger.  LFBD

"My overt [crime] in the incident:  LFBD
  I wanted to blindfold Koos,
  I wanted to push HIM out.  LFBD

"And I pushed him out many times, in the incident.  LFBD


"But Koos was 'patient' with me:
  with a constant endurance he kept his glare fight up  LFBD
  to make me 'see',
  to encourage me to see him and give up my fight against him.


"Looking [in April 1945] at this [much earlier] incident,
  made me go exterior [out of my body] with full perception.

"And this was the breakthrough
  which made me KNOW I can see,
  and [which made me know]
   I will see with my body's eyes again."
