as Scientologists like to call it).
It will even correct false data about auditing
that you may have received, and possibly are still using.
Furthermore, it will give you great insight
into L. Ron Hubbard and into his Church of Scientology,
including the history of both and the practices of both.

how to achieve full spiritual freedom

This book has been publicly available since 1982 as 'freeware',
so the idea of anybody "defending Trade Secrets"
is utterly ridiculous.

Post Scriptum:
A word of warning and caution.
I am continuously confronted with people
who have read tiny bits of this material
and who then pretend to know
the secrets and functions and current conditions
on this planet, in this galaxy and in the universe(s).
What all these so-called "wise" people
have in common, is, that
they do not apply data,
they do not audit other people.
In fact these "wise" people
- who have read some scraps of these materials -
are in a very hightoned apathy about life.
They "know all about it"
but they can't DO anything about it.
Because they can't DO anything about it,
they are in actual fact
completely unable to understand the material!
And they use
all of the historical data presented in this material and
all conditions described in this material
in order to
confuse themselves and others.
This can not be avoided. You will encounter this.
ALL people in apathy
want to confuse themselves and
want to confuse others
in order to bring about a decay of life
for themselves and for others.
NO MATTER WHAT DATA YOU GIVE THEM,
THEY WILL CONFUSE IT FOR THEMSELVES AND FOR OTHERS.
We are talking about their ACTUAL apathy about life,
not about how alive a person pretends to be.
So you will see parts of these materials
discussed by people with a total misunderstanding,
and used by them to prove the exact opposite
of what the actual materials mean
and what they are intended for.
THIS CAN NOT BE AVOIDED in any field of knowledge,
and in particular it can not be avoided
in the field of knowledge about the spirit.
People who do not actually USE the material,
but only want to be "wise",
ARE in apathy about handling life
and
they are in apathy about helping others to improve
(no matter what they pretend).
If you would hand them (very clever, very intelligent people)
a screwdriver,
they would tell you
that the way to use it
in order to repair your car,
is
"to hold it by its tip and give it a right spin
while throwing it - rotating -
from five meters distance at the motor of your car
in such a way that the spinning tip of the screwdriver
will hit into the slit of the screw that has to be loosened,
which will then be accomplished
by the turning momentum (the spinning) of the screwdriver".
And they tell you big stories
of how "they heard of people who were able to do that,
and if you train yourself to do that as well as these "wise" men,
you could get your car (or your mind) repaired".
People who talk like that are in apathy,
they want to be confused,
they want to confuse others,
they want to keep everything in apathy,
and therefore this is the way
they WANT to believe that screwdrivers are used.
They are authorities on how to handle screwdrivers, you see.
Nobody knew that THAT was the way you handle a screwdriver,
only THEY knew that way of using it,
so they are the authorities on handling screwdrivers.
You will encounter these people also on the Internet newsgroups,
in alt.religion.scientology and alt.clearing.technology
and of course in all kinds of esoteric and religious newsgroups.
So you will hear from people who have read
scraps of the material that I am recommending to you now, and
they completely misduplicate it,
they completely misunderstand it, and
they completely misrepresent it back to you,
and that is because
they want to be confused and
they want to make others confused.
Their strongest impulse is
to confuse and misrepresent and take out of context,
in particular and preferably
those data, techniques and procedures
that diminish and handle confusion.
The majority of us
want to be less confused and be more alive,
and therefore
we should be willing to recognize
the confusers, the apathy makers,
in whatever form or role they consider themselves to be
the most successful in confusing themselves and others.
That is my word of caution.
And that is the only caution I can think of.
