RI-809i '"The Stronger One" - Simple Ethics'
from Ambassador for Mankind
Message # RI-809i for Internet
When you are stronger than another,
then you help the other to also become stronger.
This is the only ethical measurement
of whether someone IS stronger than another.
I am very sorry to tell you
that life is NOT a football-game, or a boxing-game,
where someone is "stronger than another"
when he makes the other lose a contest,
when he makes the other weaker.
The concept of being stronger,
and
the way of determining whether someone is stronger,
has been very thoroughly perverted.
'Being stronger' also does not mean
'doing the work of others FOR others',
as a way of avoiding the - much harder - work
of correctly and ethically applying
the concept of 'being stronger'.
The correct concept more precisely is:
When one is stronger
one helps anyone, friend or foe [enemy],
also when he displays evil [non-survival, anti-survival] intentions.
One does NOT smash him, but helps him:
By observing his good intentions,
especially the good intentions
which he believes he has lost
but which are there nevertheless,
by observing his evil intentions,
by indicating to him his good and his evil intentions,
by making it easier for him to execute his good intentions,
by hindering him from executing an evil intention,
in a kind, friendly and understanding way.
I don't smash Suppressive Persons, I help them.
This is normal, decent behavior
which anyone basically - even if deep down -
knows very well to be true.
It is what Christians call "good Christian behavior".
When one is a strong person
according to this correct ethical concept,
one also would be willing to recognize
a person who is stronger than oneself, and
one of course also helps those
who are stronger than oneself
- knowing the help given to them
will be returned to oneself and multiplied.
Having won a boxing-match or a football-game
only measures and proves that one 'has won a match'.
That that concept or measurement of
"being stronger", or "being the strongest" is entirely false,
is clarified by the fact
that a Suppressive Person can easily be the winner in a match.
But, a Suppressive Person is a very weak person indeed
who compulsively has to obliterate "opponents".

When you ARE stronger than another,
then you help the other - also when he is an opponent -
to become stronger.

This will eventually make him into a teammate,
as you, no doubt, can imagine.
