There are people who promote the idea and practice
"not to put attention on evil in the surroundings".
The truth is that such an attitude is
a safe solution
in order to avoid wrongly handling evil:
Becoming irrational while looking at evil
and the urge to repay evil with evil.

And that's behind the doctrine of
"don't put your attention on evil,
because doing so hinders life".
This makes as much sense as,
in order to create more life,
NOT putting attention on an atom bomb
that has just been dropped thirty miles above New York.
They do not put their attention on evil,
in this case on the atom bomb that is about to fall on the city,
in order to NOT go in to a panic and
in order to NOT give in to impulses to kill people they don't like or
in order to NOT give in to their impulse to rob a bank,
which are all impulses that they might give into
if they knew
the end might be near and
there would be "no consequences".

And they 'know' anyway about themselves
that
'they could not remedy or control the evil that they see'.
So the only result of
knowing the evil and
putting their attention on it
would be that they get into a panic
(which is a form of temporary insanity).
They rather live one minute longer in peace and then be killed,
than to defuse or deflect or destroy an atom bomb in midair
- which can be done
(if one does not get into a panic, that is).
But they rather
"don't put their attention on evil" AND
have ten million people's existences (in New York)
destroyed in an explosion.
You better watch out for those people
who "don't want to put their attention on evil", and
you better watch out for those people
who promote the idea that
"it hinders your survival to put your attention on evil".
Those are the kind of people
who don't inform you that an explosive was placed in your car,
because
"they don't want to make you upset and
they don't want to make you feel unhappy and attacked"
- by informing you that there are some people
trying to take your life.
They want that you "feel well"
- but they don't mind, that in ten minutes
your car with your wife and kids in it
will be blown to pieces.
And for some very, very, very strange reason,
they DON'T feel that they should have prevented you
from your - ten minutes later - feeling bad about
then having lost your wife and kids,
torn to bits by an explosion in your car.
So there is something very, very, very wrong with and untrue about
their propaganda that "they want you to not feel bad".
The truth is of course the second part of their statement,
and that is
that they want you to not look at
evil - at what hinders survival.
They don't mind whether you or your friends or your family
get murdered or cheated or robbed or defamed or blown to bits,
they in fact want to allow that to happen
(but they don't tell you that, of course).
Their safe solution dictates it
- they "HAVE TO" allow it to happen,
in order to not themselves become evil by seeing evil.
(And they give it some fancy names,
like 'fate, karma, letting others bear their own suffering',
and more such fancy words
which are solely to cover up
their own cowardice and
their own very mean behavior towards others:
"It is his fate that this child drowns in the icy lake.
I am not going to make my hands wet and cold, to change that.
I am 'above that'.
I have a higher spiritual awareness and know
he will be reborn and maybe
stay away from thin ice in his next lifetime.
Therefore I am superior to life."

And they want to enforce on you the pretense
that they are NOT ALREADY very evil
by making others not look at evil.
Such people are of course
the dream partners of any mafia boss or any dictator.
These were Goebbels and Goering at their best
around 1940 in Germany:
"Don't look at the evil of Adolf Hitler!"
Or the wife of Napoleon and the people surrounding Napoleon
in 1810:
"Don't look at the evil of Napoleon!"
So, you watch out for those people who say
"Don't put your attention on evil because
it 'hinders your survival' to face evil".
The very, very simple truth is that
facing evil IS survival.
Evil is part of life,
whether you like it or not,
and
the more you FACE evil precisely as it is,
the more survival you create
IN THE LONG RUN.
The "don't look at evil"-promoters
only live for the present,
they want you to feel 'good now', and
they don't care at all and
they don't want to put their attention at all
on the very predictable event
that your wife and kids will be blown to bits
in a car explosion ten minutes from now,
because
they "don't want to put your attention on evil".
They don't want to NOW feel bad
about what will happen in thirty minutes, and
they have already decided
to not do anything about it, and
they have also already decided
to prevent you from warning your wife and kids to
not go by car but to take the bus.
So, what's the use of him or you feeling bad about it,
when he will allow it to happen anyway.
Those "don't put your attention on evil"-people
want you to "feel good" in the present,
and,
regardless of how much future suffering
is caused by your "NOW feeling good", and,
regardless of how much suffering
your "feeling good" might cause to others
- who definitely do NOT feel good about being made to suffer!
So you better watch out for those people
who "want you not to put any attention on evil"
and especially you better watch out for those
who try to enforce that idea on you and on others
as 'the way of life', as a 'philosophy of life',
because it sure is a widespread attitude, but NOT for LIFE!
