USP-001 'No good without understanding evil'

Understanding Suppression Series # 1

(See Footnote for understanding)

Some people say that you can't have good without having evil, and
some people even write this down.

These people have forgotten the original meaning, which is "You can't
have good if you can't SEE evil."

Due to the nature of life as it exists (no matter what philosophy or
religion you belong to - life exists as it is) one has to be very
alert to evil in order to have and maintain anything good.

Nowadays, there is the environmental or 'green' movement to make or
keep nature, the air and water clean from pollution.

There is however a tremendous mental pollution going on in life as
life exists, and that pollution consists of anti-survival INTENTIONS
coming from various individuals or groups or institutions that hinder
your survival.

Intentions of others to hinder your survival are evil, and intentions
of yours to hinder another's survival are evil.

One has to be constantly alert to these, in order to have good:

- No people exist who are entirely free from evil intentions, and
that includes anybody, the very best and brilliant people as well.
Even when they are Saints, they still might hinder your survival
by telling you not to look at some evil of others.

- There is a small percentage of people who are extremely evil - to
such an extent that they temporarily make others around them, or even
a whole country, also evil.

If you don't look at that evil and that it is INTENDED evil - you
can't have good for very long.

If there are one or two such people in your group, and if you
don't look at that, then you are kicked out of the group in no time,
especially BECAUSE you are good, and because you are the first person
that evil people try to get rid of.

Theoretically it would be quite possible to form a group that has
a lot of fun playing all kinds of games which do not involve any
intention to harm each other.

You don't need the intention to harm another in order to play a game
of, let's say, football. You might occasionally harm somebody, but
that's not out of the intention to inflict harm.

Even though evil is not needed at all by life, it IS part of life and
it DOES exist, and it is INTENDED by the Suppressive Person.

And if you can't SEE evil, then you can't have good for very long.

The Understanding Suppression Series is a collection of observations.

Probably you have made many of these observations yourself, but you
never quite voiced them, or you never quite formulated your
observations, or you put them down as "life-experience" and "things
one does not talk about".

Yet these are vital, vital data. The most brilliant and the most
successful and the most helpful and decent people fall the moment
they neglect these data, the moment they say "Here it does not apply",
or "Now it does not apply to my situation", or "It does not apply to
my friend or to my spouse or to my business-partner or to my secretary
or to my comrade".

And there they go - they fall, they get sick, they lose their
reputation, their family or their fortune.

Even though they did know most of the data I present - or they at
least have some inkling of the observations I give here - they never
did put it in the right perspective, they never assessed its true and
major importance in safeguarding life.

Footnote:

You can't have or maintain good without understanding evil.

NONE of the present sciences, therapies and religions, and
none of the "-isms" or "-ologies" of today understand evil
or suppression.

Yet they have abundant - and sometimes very expensive -
recipes for "being good forever". Even when they claim to
understand evil, they want to be unaware of and hide their
own evil and so they become evil themselves, and they meet
evil with evil in order "to defend themselves or their group".

It is not possible to handle properly someone who is evil or
something that is evil WITHOUT understanding WHAT PRECISELY
you are handling.

YOU CAN'T HANDLE AN EVIL BEING, FOR INSTANCE, UNLESS YOU
UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE HANDLING A BEING, AND THAT YOU ARE
HELPING HIM - A BEING - TO CONTROL HIS EVIL.

The Understanding Suppression Series will help you - maybe
for the first time - to understand evil well enough in order
to maintain good. I have taken care to write as easy to
understand as possible. The Series starts out very simple,
and currently consists of about 150 separate observations.

Keeping this knowledge to yourself will not maintain good
- because others, lacking understanding of evil, will
unintentionally assist evil - but you sharing this knowledge
with others WILL make you win over evil, and WILL safeguard
good.
