USP-035 'Destroying all reality of the past'

Understanding Suppression Series # 35

(See Footnote for understanding)

One of many definitions of 'Suppressive Person':

Someone who wants to punish and destroy others for looking at
his evil, or for them looking at the evil of others.

Looking at the evil of OTHERS might also expose the evil of the
Suppressive Person, and therefore constitutes a "danger" to the
Suppressive Person. Therefore "people should generally be discouraged
from, or, if possible, be punished for looking at evil".

Someone who maintains that the Holocaust (extermination of the Jewish
people 1933-1945 in Nazi-Germany) never happened, or that "it was only
the Jews' own fault", wants that others do NOT see evil.

Another way a Suppressive Person denies the existence of evil, and
how he invalidates people who DO look at evil, is by saying: "What
others remember as evil that has taken place, is only pictures in
their mind - pictures of what they might have seen, but it is only in
their own mind".

When a Suppressive Person now meets actual, real people whom he
affected badly in the past, he wants to say that it's ONLY IN THEIR
MIND that they were tortured or betrayed or suffered degradation. And
he wants to say that it does not matter whether it was actually,
really done by him or by others, because "It's only in their mind,
it's only pictures of things that happened in their own mind."

By stating that a Suppressive Person DID evil things, one breaks the
agreement enforced by the Suppressive Person that 'It does not matter
what one has done in the past'.

(One breaks that false agreement that 'It does not matter what one
did in the past', also when one states that someone or oneself did
GOOD things in the past, by the way.)

A Suppressive Person wants to punish or destroy those who break that
enforced (and false) agreement that 'It does not matter what one has
done in the past', and that 'It is all just pictures in one's mind'.

Footnote:

You can't have or maintain good without understanding evil.

NONE of the present sciences, therapies and religions, and
none of the "-isms" or "-ologies" of today understand evil
or suppression.

Yet they have abundant - and sometimes very expensive -
recipes for "being good forever". Even when they claim to
understand evil, they want to be unaware of and hide their
own evil and so they become evil themselves, and they meet
evil with evil in order "to defend themselves or their group".

It is not possible to handle properly someone who is evil or
something that is evil WITHOUT understanding WHAT PRECISELY
you are handling.

YOU CAN'T HANDLE AN EVIL BEING, FOR INSTANCE, UNLESS YOU
UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE HANDLING A BEING, AND THAT YOU ARE
HELPING HIM - A BEING - TO CONTROL HIS EVIL.

The Understanding Suppression Series will help you - maybe
for the first time - to understand evil well enough in order
to maintain good. I have taken care to write as easy to
understand as possible. The Series starts out very simple,
and currently consists of about 150 separate observations.

Keeping this knowledge to yourself will not maintain good
- because others, lacking understanding of evil, will
unintentionally assist evil - but you sharing this knowledge
with others WILL make you win over evil, and WILL safeguard
good.
