Understanding Suppression Series # 45

One of many definitions of 'Suppressive Person':

Someone who makes life miserable for everyone by assigning completely
wrong importances to things.


As far as I have looked, this always boils down to
"people, individuals, are not important".

All kinds of other things are "important" - but not people,
individuals, and not their individual well-being as the spiritual
beings which they are, and which they are NOW (and not in some
imagined or advertised "future state of affairs" separate from actual
life as it exists).

This starts in schools where rules are important and the children are
not, where children are judged as "good students" by 'how well they
follow all the rules' and NOT by how well they understand or how much
they desire to understand.

This continues with groups, cults, Communist or Nazi parties,
Intelligence Agencies or even whole governments, whose only purpose
has become to ensure their own existence - actually to ensure that
its leadership stays in control of the group - while camouflaging it
as 'defending an idea or system or religion that is vital for the
well-being of individuals'.

There, the Suppressive Persons in charge of such a group or cult
want it overlooked and denied that the well-being of each and all
individuals is what it all SHOULD be about, and that it should NOT
just be about the idea, system or religion that is "served by the
individuals". Dictators always succeed in turning these things around.
As I have mentioned, Suppressive Persons have it all in reverse.



A well-known example from literature about completely false
importances is "one has to open a boiled egg from the pointed side,
and not from the rounded (opposite) side".
That part of the population that did not want to have prescribed to
them how to eat their breakfast-eggs, went away to live on another
island. And they then went to war with the others over this issue of
how to eat boiled eggs, at least that's what the writer wants us to
believe. (From "Gulliver's Travels")

I think the writer of the book entirely missed - or refused to state -
the actual point:
   It is entirely insane - and the act of a violently suppressive
   person who ALSO will order other, really suppressive actions -
   to force everyone to open their boiled egg from its pointed side.
   It is entirely ethical to want to leave such a regime, and - also
   after leaving it - to fight such an insane government that will
   suppress its people.


Now, if the persons who left wanted to force everybody to do the
opposite - to open their breakfast-egg from the round side - then
that group is ALSO guided by one or more Suppressive Persons.

But in that case - which the writer of "Gulliver's Travels" wanted
to make appear as two groups fighting each other over a trivial,
ridiculous matter - there are TWO centers of power, two governments,
each guided by violently psychotic and therefore suppressive persons.

What the writer did is "to make nothing of the INTENTION to cause
destruction and war". War IS ALWAYS caused by actual, real
Suppressive Persons in power on one side, and sometimes on both sides
of the warring parties, or sometimes the Suppressive Person is also
found on a "neutral side" in between warring parties, making the other
two fight each other - or there are Suppressive Persons on all sides
who (as one can expect of Suppressive Persons) refuse to find out WHO
causes the war, that is, WHO WANTS AND SUCCEEDS IN BRINGING ABOUT
UNNECESSARY DESTRUCTION OR NON-SURVIVAL.


There is always at least one Suppressive Person present, in a war,
who causes it, as war is not a natural condition at all. (This
to counter the viciously insane "theories" of Suppressive Persons
about war, that wars are "caused" by hunger or overpopulation).


To give you another example of a Suppressive Person wanting to have a
system, idea or religion (that is or is supposed to benefit people)
MORE IMPORTANT THAN the well-being of the people whose well-being it
should serve, I mention King Philipp II of Spain - but there are
hundreds of other examples.

King Philipp II of Spain did not send an Armada [large fleet] of ships
to conquer and subjugate England for the reason that the English
"did not think right Catholic thoughts". No, King Philipp II did so
only because he hated people, and he especially hated free people.
King Philipp II of Spain was a violently Suppressive Person.

But he covered it up, he MADE the well-being of people be overlooked,
with "wanting to save the souls - the spiritual well-being - of the
English people".

The enforced wrong importance was:  To make people into almost-slaves
and to take away almost all their possessions, but to make them voice
"right Catholic thoughts and payments to the Church, for their eternal
spiritual well-being", as he had done in Spain, together with his
predecessor, Queen Isabella I.
(By the way, his Armada of ships failed miserably.)

Footnote:

You can't have or maintain good without understanding evil.

NONE of the present sciences, therapies and religions, and
none of the "-isms" or "-ologies" of today understand evil
or suppression.

Yet they have abundant - and sometimes very expensive -
recipes for "being good forever". Even when they claim to
understand evil, they want to be unaware of and hide their
own evil and so they become evil themselves, and they meet
evil with evil in order "to defend themselves or their group".

It is not possible to handle properly someone who is evil or
something that is evil WITHOUT understanding WHAT PRECISELY
you are handling.

YOU CAN'T HANDLE AN EVIL BEING, FOR INSTANCE, UNLESS YOU
UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE HANDLING A BEING, AND THAT YOU ARE
HELPING HIM - A BEING - TO CONTROL HIS EVIL.

The Understanding Suppression Series will help you - maybe
for the first time - to understand evil well enough in order
to maintain good. I have taken care to write as easy to
understand as possible. The Series starts out very simple,
and currently consists of about 150 separate observations.

Keeping this knowledge to yourself will not maintain good
- because others, lacking understanding of evil, will
unintentionally assist evil - but you sharing this knowledge
with others WILL make you win over evil, and WILL safeguard
good.
