USP-058 'Doing as if reality does not exist'

Understanding Suppression Series # 58

(See Footnote for understanding)

One of many definitions of 'Suppressive Person':

Someone who operates mainly in the band of doing as if something
doesn't exist:
Doing as if people don't exist, doing as if people's realities don't
exist, doing as if conditions of life don't exist.

He does this by deciding not to be aware of "all those 'confusing' or
'unpleasant' things or people".

His apparent action is to make things look different than they are,
or making people look different than they are. He intentionally has
false perceptions and he intentionally gives false reports.

But underlying this is the continuous action and intention and mental
force-output of doing as if people, things, conditions and
circumstances - that exist very much - do not exist.

The actuality of life is too unbearable, too painful to be existing -
in the insane philosophy of a Suppressive Person.

The whole philosophy and practice of trying to achieve Nirwana - a
state of not-being - is based on this.

One is easily fooled by this Suppressive Person:
His own, mainly imaginary world and his way of going about in life
SEEM to be a high-emotion and creative activity.
He SEEMS to be "not affected by bad conditions or by evil behavior
towards him".

His attitude can be VERY confusing to you and others:
You seem to have a happy person in front of you who SEEMS to be in
command of life's adversities and problems, even much better than
yourself.

But his "happy and alive" actions go together with a continuous
denial of actual conditions existing in the physical universe, and a
continuous denial of the actual problems and emotions and realities
of others.

These other realities "must not exist, as they are too confusing, too
evil", according to the Suppressive Person.

The responsibility level of such people is extremely low - they
desert and betray you and others whenever they like.

They are the idols of hippies, drop-outs, punks and anarchist gangs.
It is the 'way of life' of a drug-user.

The Suppressive Person "handles" evil by SEEMINGLY, in his imaginary
own universe, destroying evil - that is, by denying the existence of
it.

But, of course, when you deny the existence of a murderer, that
murderer is free to roam around and to murder wherever and whenever
he pleases.

The Suppressive Person, however, PRETENDS not to be affected by it.
And he tries to make you do the same thing.
He "sells" that philosophy to you as "being alive".

But his actual own mental universe is a mess of lies, of destroying
decency and care, and of destroying himself.

Footnote:

You can't have or maintain good without understanding evil.

NONE of the present sciences, therapies and religions, and
none of the "-isms" or "-ologies" of today understand evil
or suppression.

Yet they have abundant - and sometimes very expensive -
recipes for "being good forever". Even when they claim to
understand evil, they want to be unaware of and hide their
own evil and so they become evil themselves, and they meet
evil with evil in order "to defend themselves or their group".

It is not possible to handle properly someone who is evil or
something that is evil WITHOUT understanding WHAT PRECISELY
you are handling.

YOU CAN'T HANDLE AN EVIL BEING, FOR INSTANCE, UNLESS YOU
UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE HANDLING A BEING, AND THAT YOU ARE
HELPING HIM - A BEING - TO CONTROL HIS EVIL.

The Understanding Suppression Series will help you - maybe
for the first time - to understand evil well enough in order
to maintain good. I have taken care to write as easy to
understand as possible. The Series starts out very simple,
and currently consists of about 150 separate observations.

Keeping this knowledge to yourself will not maintain good
- because others, lacking understanding of evil, will
unintentionally assist evil - but you sharing this knowledge
with others WILL make you win over evil, and WILL safeguard
good.
