Understanding Suppression Series # 65

One of many definitions of 'Suppressive Person':

Someone who wants another to give up his own viewpoint completely,
and to replace it with a very agreeable viewpoint.

Meaning, that another should give up or mis-interpret all of his
worries, his past, his concerns, his relationships, any
responsibility for his past actions and experiences, and any
responsibility for his past goals and desires.

That is actually what a Suppressive Person wants another to do.

Some of them try to sell that to you and others as "manners" or
"social adjustment", or as "Therapy", or as "Religion", or as
"Nirwana" (a temporary state of 'happily' giving up all desires
to create life).

In the mind of the Suppressive Person, according to the feelings of
the Suppressive Person, giving up your own viewpoint and replacing it
by a viewpoint that someone else wants you to have, is "social", or
it is "therapy."

It is HIS "solution", HIS "best solution" to life.



When a Suppressive Person wants that you give up your life or that
you misinterpret your desires and goals, he actually tries to believe
- seems totally convinced even - that he is "helping" you, and that
giving up one's past and one's responsibilities is "helpful", is
"vital" to make life "bearable" or "livable" - "only then can people
live together."
He means: Only then others can "live together" with him, without that
HE has to become decent and without that HE has to protect others
from evil inflicted upon them.

Really deep down, he knows very differently.
Suppressive Persons DO know, that what they are doing IS the activity
of destroying life. They DO know, that, in order to bring that about
successfully, they have to label what they do as its opposite: They
label it as "making life more pleasant and harmonious." But they KNOW
very well that they secretly intend life destroyed, no matter how
much they complain that others do not see or do not appreciate their
"good" intentions.


The force, the intensity, the trickery or secretive intelligence, and
the endurance, with which such a person enforces these ideas (of how
good it is not to have your own viewpoint) on you, or on others, is a
measure of how suppressive that Suppressive Person is.


IT IS THE EFFORT AND INTENTION of a Suppressive Person TO MAKE YOU
GIVE UP YOUR OWN VIEWPOINT, AND TO GIVE UP YOUR NATIVE DESIRE TO
CREATE AND ENJOY LIFE - and it IS very suppressive what he does.

It is done only by Suppressive Persons.

Footnote:

You can't have or maintain good without understanding evil.

NONE of the present sciences, therapies and religions, and
none of the "-isms" or "-ologies" of today, understand evil
or suppression.

Yet they have abundant - and sometimes very expensive -
recipes for "being good forever." Even when they claim to
understand evil, they want to be unaware of and hide their
own evil and so they become evil themselves, and they meet
evil with evil in order "to defend themselves or their group."

It is not possible to handle properly someone who is evil or
something that is evil, WITHOUT understanding WHAT PRECISELY
you are handling.

YOU CAN'T HANDLE AN EVIL BEING, FOR INSTANCE, UNLESS YOU
UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE HANDLING A BEING, AND THAT YOU ARE
HELPING HIM - A BEING - TO CONTROL HIS EVIL.

The Understanding Suppression Series will help you - maybe
for the first time - to understand evil well enough in order
to maintain good. I have taken care to write as easy to
understand as possible. The Series starts out very simple,
and currently consists of about 150 separate observations.

Keeping this knowledge to yourself will not maintain good
- because others, lacking understanding of evil, will
unintentionally assist evil - but you sharing this knowledge
with others WILL make you win over evil, and WILL safeguard
good.
